Trekfit Cargo Net

The revamped Parc de Deauville in Pierrefonds-Roxboro, a vibrant borough west of Montreal, Quebec, is a testament to innovative and community-focused design.

This transformative project, which emphasized a connection to nature and inclusivity, recently earned the prestigious Grand Prix du Design 2024 for Certification Argent – Architecture de paysage / Architecture de paysage sur le domaine public.

City officials envisioned a park that would appeal to everyone, from young children to teens and active adults. Trekfit, in collaboration with Techsport, played a pivotal role in designing the park’s dynamic teen and active adult section, offering a space that fosters connection, physical activity, and creativity. The park’s distinct areas, seamlessly linked by pathways, embody a harmonious blend of functionality and natural beauty.

This prestigious award highlights the park’s success in setting a new standard for public space design by:

  • Creating a safe, stimulating environment where teenagers can engage in active play and develop physically, socially, and mentally.
  • Providing versatile, innovative fitness structures that appeal to a wide range of skill levels and ages.
  • Serving as a sustainable model for future community park projects.
